I'm Ula, a photographer based in Western Canada, working across personal landscape and nature work and commercial photography, video, and content projects.
I'm drawn to found textures and the way humans and nature interact—open space and small detail, stillness in a city and solace in a forest. What I'm chasing isn't a subject, it's a feeling: awe, vastness, warmth, connection. When I imagine someone living with one of these works, I picture them finding a place for that feeling in their own home.
I write weekly on Substack about creative practice and the visual world.
